Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Centino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matti Teitsi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Arthur Centino!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Matti Teitsi!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Centino tries to work over Teitsi's front leg with a kick but Teitsi checks it.
Centino throws a sloppy head kick
and Teitsi makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Teitsi uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Centino.
Centino misses with a jab, cross combination.
Centino lands a head kick. Teitsi smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Centino lands with a right hand.
Centino throws a leg kick

and Teitsi decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Centino's guard.
Teitsi throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Centino works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Teitsi postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Centino avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Teitsi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Centino swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

and Teitsi counters with a big head kick but Centino shrugs it off.

Centino connects with a leg kick. Teitsi looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Centino is controlling Teitsi's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Teitsi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Good standup being displayed there by Centino as he connects with a hook.

Teitsi avoids a kick to the body.
Teitsi tries to counter by closing the distance.
Teitsi takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Centino misses with a kick to the body.
Centino fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Teitsi has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Centino throws a low kick but it's checked well by Teitsi.
Teitsi loads up on a big right hand but Centino slips the punch.
Centino lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Centino jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Teitsi has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Centino.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Good work by Centino as he checks the leg kick.
Centino darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Teitsi looks to land a right hand but Centino moved out of range.
Teitsi misses with a leg kick.
Centino chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Centino finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Teitsi walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Centino checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Teitsi is looking to clinch but Centino is avoiding it.
Centino lands a nice looking kick to the body. Teitsi takes a step back to recover.

and Teitsi counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Centino!

Teitsi swings around for an armbar but Centino sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Teitsi's guard.
Teitsi lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Teitsi distracts Centino with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Centino pulls Teitsi in close to his closed guard and prevents Teitsi from doing any damage or advancing position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Centino has momentary wrist control but Teitsi slips an elbow through the middle.
Centino has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Centino has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Teitsi throws a strike but Centino rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Teitsi keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Centino's head.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Teitsi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Centino has control of Teitsi's left arm, preventing Teitsi from doing any damage.
Teitsi postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Centino is adopting a defensive guard.

Teitsi thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Centino has momentary wrist control but Teitsi slips an elbow through the middle.
Centino bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Teitsi's guard.

Centino stands and throws Teitsi's legs to the side, diving into side control.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Matti Teitsi.
I think Teitsi has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
