Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Igor Pao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haywood Jablomey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Haywood Jablomey was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Haywood Jablomey!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Bart Greer and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jablomey scores with a nice head shot.
Pao on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Jablomey throws a leg kick that is checked
and Pao counters by moving into the clinch.
Pao pulls Jablomey into guard.
Pao is looking for a triangle but Jablomey pushes his legs off easily.
Jablomey avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Pao working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jablomey doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jablomey manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Pao looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Jablomey passes into half guard.

Jablomey is looking for a kimura but Pao is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Jablomey to get the leverage.

Pao wants to control but Jablomey is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Pao moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Jablomey drops back looking for a leg! Pao is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pao manages to kick Jablomey off! Jablomey jumps back into Pao's guard.
Pao has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jablomey can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Jablomey must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Pao is looking to cinch up a triangle. Jablomey throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Pao's body to avoid the submission. Pao has instead reached around Jablomey's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Pao arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Igor Pao!
