The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drogba defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Khan.
Drogba tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Khan manages to circle out of the way.
A jab lands there for Drogba.
Drogba has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Barbell Brigade - $700 in the buildup to the fight.
Khan shoots and misses
and Drogba counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Drogba avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Khan throws a left and a right that both miss
and Drogba counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Drogba throws a body punch but Khan moves out of range.
And Khan tries to counter it with a takedown but Drogba pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Drogba connects with a nice looking jab.
Khan shoots in but Drogba avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Didier Drogba has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daanish Khan.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Khan tries to clinch but Drogba is having none of it.
Khan takes a jab right on the kisser.
Khan takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

BOOM! Drogba lands a beautiful left hook that drops Khan. Khan tries to recover but Drogba is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Khan lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
