Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Slim Jim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Zamanda Nebaba!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Dmitry Maklakov and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nebaba misses with a body kick.
Nebaba tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Nebaba closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Nebaba shoots for a takedown but Jim saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jim appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Jim keeps the fight on the outside.
Jim drops down looking for a counter takedown but Nebaba sprawls and moves away.
Nebaba tests Jim's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Jim shoots in and gets a takedown into Nebaba's guard.

Jim slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jim won't allow Nebaba to sweep him here.
Jim is working Nebaba over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Nebaba is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Nebaba connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Jim drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Nebaba looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jim is one step ahead there.
Jim works over Nebaba with some ground and pound from guard.

Jim lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nebaba pushes Jim off and gets back to his feet.
Nebaba throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jim's waist but Jim gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nebaba off to one side.
Jim takes a shot to the body in his stride.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nebaba shoots for a double leg takedown but Jim sprawls well. He's pushed Nebaba's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Jim shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Nebaba's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jim scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Nebaba looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jim is one step ahead there.
Jim looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Jim connects with a couple of short punches.

Nebaba throws his legs up looking for a submission but Jim uses it to pass to side control.
Nebaba is looking to reverse the position.

Nebaba on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Slim Jim overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Nebaba wants to control but Jim postures up.
Nebaba gets back to half guard.

Jim looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Jim has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Jim slips a nice elbow through Nebaba's hands, connecting with Nebaba's forehead.
Nebaba won't allow Jim to pass to mount.

Nebaba wants to improve his position but Jim is controlling well.

Nebaba is still in real trouble! Can Jim finish him?
Jim lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Nebaba quite badly. Nebaba pulls Jim in close trying to recover. Jim postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Nebaba on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Nebaba doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Slim Jim!
