The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Plitt misses the target.
Collier takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Collier digs a good hook to Plitt's body.
Collier looks to land a right hand but Plitt moved out of range.
Plitt was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Plitt works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Collier throws a sloppy head kick and Plitt moves out of range easily.
Collier takes the fight into the clinch.

Collier tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Plitt can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight.

Our sources have told us that Plitt has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Plitt gets through Collier's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Collier pushes Plitt back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Collier swings wildly with an uppercut but Plitt uses good head movement to avoid it.
Plitt breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Collier closes this distance looking for a takedown but Plitt circles away.

Plitt takes one on the button.
Plitt gets cracked there but stands up to it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Plitt counters with a three punch combo that has Collier backing up. Collier nods at Plitt to acknowledge the strikes.

Collier throws a leg kick but Plitt sees it coming and moves out of range.

Collier uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Plitt tries to bum rush Collier with a series of wild strikes but Collier uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Plitt cracks Collier with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Plitt has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Collier to stand back up!
Collier is rocked!
Plitt lands with a right and another and another! Collier is in big trouble! Plitt lands again and this time it's lights out for Collier! A quality knockout there for Plitt.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Greg Plitt!
