Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harry Sachz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Brophy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brophy is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Boulevard of Broken Dreams. Harry Sachz has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Harry Sachz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Michael Brophy! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Lou da Vinci and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sachz fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Brophy looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Sachz is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Brophy's half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brophy wants to improve his position but Sachz is controlling well.
Sachz thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Brophy's head. Brophy tries to get to full guard but Sachz has control of the leg. Brophy holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sachz lands with a punch from half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sachz thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Brophy's head. Brophy wants to control but Sachz is keeping busy and won't allow it. Sachz is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Brophy is just riding it out for now. Sachz eventually gives up the hold. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sachz connects with a nice short shot to Brophy's temple.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sachz stalling. Sachz is keen to just control but Brophy is a slippery customer. Sachz not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Sachz wants to pass the guard but Brophy is defending well. Sachz is trying to control. Brophy wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Sachz missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Brophy tries to roll over but Sachz keeps him under control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Sachz slips a nice elbow through Brophy's hands, connecting with Brophy's forehead. Sachz is looking to pass Brophy's guard but actually Brophy recovers to full guard. Sachz postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Brophy avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Sachz throwing strikes from guard but Brophy blocks nicely. Brophy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sachz is one step ahead there. Brophy is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sachz wants to get back to full guard. Sachz tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Brophy has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Brophy controlling the pace for now. Sachz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Sachz is working to get back to half guard.
Brophy controlling from mount. Sachz is in all sorts of trouble here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sachz swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Sachz is desperately trying to improve his position but Brophy has a good base and remains in mount. Brophy controlling his opponent. Sachz tries to hold on but Brophy postures up. Brophy controlling the position easily from mount. Sachz tries to reverse the position but Brophy maintains control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sachz is working hard here to advance position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Harry Sachz dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Brophy takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Sachz takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
It looks like Harry Sachz has been cut. Brophy gets caught flat footed, as Sachz shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Sachz working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Sachz drops back, looking for a kneebar! Brophy looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Brophy looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Brophy! Sachz is looking to reverse the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sachz can't do much from the bottom here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sachz tries to control but Brophy manages to take his back. Brophy is not going to allow Sachz to sit and survive in this position. Brophy is riding his opponent, not letting Sachz buck him off. Brophy keeps control of the position as Sachz tries to break free.
Sachz tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Sachz is looking to get to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sachz wants to control but Brophy is having none of it. Sachz is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Sachz is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Sachz is controlling an arm, preventing Brophy from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Brophy is looking to stand but Sachz has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Sachz tries to hold on but Brophy postures up. Sachz is trying to reverse the position but instead Brophy has taken his back - oops!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brophy controls the position. Brophy's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Sachz trying to control the hands but Brophy won't let him. Sachz is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Brophy biding his time, controlling Sachz. Sachz tries to escape but Brophy has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Sachz wants to control his opponent's hands but Brophy gets his hands free. Brophy biding his time, controlling Sachz. Brophy avoiding Sachz 's attempts to control his hands. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Brophy keeps control of the position as Sachz tries to break free.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Michael Brophy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Harry Sachz's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Nice sprawl there from Brophy as Sachz shoots in. Good standup being displayed there by Brophy as he connects with a hook. A leg kick checked by Sachz. Brophy throws a hook but Sachz blocks it. Brophy throws the kick towards the body but Sachz avoids it. Brophy thows a left - swing and a miss! Sachz blocks a jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brophy throws a big shot that misses. Sachz shoots in looking for a takedown but Brophy manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sachz's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Brophy fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Sachz throws out a loose jab but Brophy uses good head movement to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brophy tries a head kick but it misses.
Sachz shoots and misses and Brophy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Harry Sachz. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sachz tries to score a power double leg takedown but Brophy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sachz somewhat. Sachz slips a straight right by Brophy. Brophy has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Sachz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brophy moves away. Sachz connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Sachz has a takedown stuffed. Michael Brophy seems to be getting the better of the standup.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brophy misses with a kick to the body.
Brophy lands with a right hand. Sachz tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brophy was well out of range. Poor timing from Sachz. Sachz looking to score a takedown here. Brophy is defending well but Sachz drives through and ends up in Brophy's guard. Brophy utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Sachz won't allow Brophy to sweep him here. Sachz keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Brophy's head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sachz with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Sachz sitting in guard here, content to control. Sachz drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Brophy manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Sachz has Brophy in his guard.

Sachz is controlling Brophy's posture. Sachz doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Brophy is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Sachz is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Brophy is aware though and is defending well. Sachz working for a triangle but Brophy defends it easily.
Sachz has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Brophy has passed into side control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Brophy is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Michael Brophy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Brophy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
