Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ken Tanaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Stuckey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ken Tanaka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ray Stuckey! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Valeri Chadov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tanaka takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
It looks like Ken Tanaka has been cut. Stuckey has managed to clinch.
Tanaka escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A swing and a miss from Stuckey. Tanaka is looking to counter punch. Stuckey lands a left and a right that send Tanaka crashing to the mat, dazed. Stuckey thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Tanaka looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Sloppy strikes from Stuckey. Those never looked like landing. A little feinted left hand from Tanaka on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tanaka throws out a powerful jab. Stuckey swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Tanaka was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Stuckey is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tanaka. Stuckey connects with a right hand. Tanaka shakes it off. Stuckey cracks Tanaka with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. A lazy body kick from Stuckey and Tanaka counters with a straight right hand. Stuckey misses with a shot to the body letting Tanaka counter with a right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tanaka slips a jab from Stuckey. Stuckey lands a big right hand that sends Tanaka crashing to the mat! Stuckey stays standing though and waves Tanaka back to his feet! Stuckey misses with an uppercut
and Tanaka cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A big right from Stuckey misses. An attempted straight right counter from Tanaka misses the target. Stuckey uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tanaka. Tanaka has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Tanaka there as he acknowledges the shot. Stuckey rushes Tanaka and presses him up against the cage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tanaka blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Stuckey misses with some punches.
Stuckey throws a punch but it's blocked by Tanaka. Tanaka breaks the clinch.
Stuckey might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Stuckey misses the shot to the body. Tanaka was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stuckey looks to score with a jab to the body but Tanaka is just out of range. Stuckey has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Tanaka blocks the body kick.
Stuckey connects with the punch. Stuckey swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tanaka connects with a crisp jab. Stuckey misses the shot to the body. Stuckey throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. It looked like Tanaka was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Stuckey throws a hook to the side of Tanaka's head but Tanaka sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Tanaka appears to be looking for a big counter. Stuckey throws an off balance right hand
letting Tanaka counter with a right hand. Stuckey scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stuckey lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Stuckey pushes Tanaka up against the cage in a clinch. A shot in the inside from Stuckey. Stuckey stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Tanaka manages to break the clinch.
Tanaka lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Stuckey circles away quickly and effectively. Stuckey throws an overhand right that lands on Tanaka's shoulder, as Tanaka tries to avoid the shot. A little feinted left hand from Tanaka on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Stuckey lands a big uppercut and Tanaka crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Tanaka looks OK. Stuckey waves Tanaka back to his feet!
Tanaka is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stuckey misses with a right hand and Tanaka counters with a nice right hand that sends Stuckey toppling to the canvas! Stuckey scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Tanaka finish him?!

Oh Tanaka is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stuckey throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Stuckey tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tanaka was well out of range. Poor timing from Stuckey. Tanaka swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Tanaka keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Tanaka is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Stuckey is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tanaka. A little feinted left hand from Tanaka on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. The fighters circling - Stuckey throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Tanaka throwing a counter right hand but Stuckey manages to avoid it. Ray Stuckey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stuckey closes the distance and clinches. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Stuckey is struggling to control the position. A short right from Stuckey. Stuckey working aggressively here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ray Stuckey dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

and Tanaka makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Stuckey misses with a wild combination.
Stuckey listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Stuckey walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stuckey throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tanaka seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Stuckey goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Tanaka went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Tanaka jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stuckey misses the shot to the body. Tanaka takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Stuckey is looking to clinch. Tanaka is looking to counter punch. A swing and a miss from Tanaka. Stuckey misses the shot to the body. Tanaka throws out a loose jab but Stuckey uses good head movement to avoid it. Tanaka takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Stuckey swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Tanaka appears to be looking for a big counter. Stuckey throws an off balance right hand
and Tanaka counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Stuckey badly! Tanaka follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Stuckey out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Tanaka finished him against the cage.
