Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Vermeer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Luther King Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King Jr has chosen MLK tribute as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Martin Luther King Jr!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vermeer misses with a few strikes there.

Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Vermeer screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Alexander Vermeer decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
In defeat, Martin Luther King Jr stepped up to the mic, saying 'I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. I have a dream today! '.
