The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goldstein tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Luger is able to avoid easily.
Luger connects with a body shot that sends Goldstein's belly button to the back.
Luger gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

It looks like Shane Luger has been cut.
Goldstein takes a kick to the side of the head.
Luger tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Goldstein throws a body punch but Luger moves out of range.
Luger moves into range and connects with a jab.

We've been hearing reports that Goldstein has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Goldstein lands with a hook. Luger tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Goldstein attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Luger avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

A solid leg kick lands there for Goldstein.
Goldstein stalks Luger and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Luger's face. Luger staggers backwards, shaken.

Goldstein fails with an attempt to clinch.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Luger, as that shot connected.
Goldstein connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Luger momentarily.
Luger slips under a jab from Goldstein.
Luger let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Luger misses with a straight right.

Goldstein punishes Luger's body with a nice straight punch.

Goldstein waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Luger. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Luger to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

Luger is rocked!

That has opened up Shane Luger's cut even more.
Goldstein arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Luger's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
