Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Master Blaster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iosue Nicu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nicu has chosen It's Dark and Hell Is Hot as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Master Blaster!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Iosue Nicu!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blaster jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Blaster throws an off balance right hand
and Nicu counters with a body kick that stops Blaster in his tracks momentarily.
Nicu dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Blaster. That did some damage!
Nicu connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
That kick from Nicu tenderised Blaster's leg. Blaster is trying to keep his angry face on.
Blaster has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Blaster throws out a loose jab but Nicu uses good head movement to avoid it.

Blaster takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Blaster is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nicu.

Blaster takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looked like Blaster was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Nicu.

As Blaster backs off Nicu throws a huge counter combo but Blaster manages to avoid it all.

and Nicu counters with a nice low kick that buckles Blaster's knee momentarily.
Blaster stalks Nicu and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Nicu's face. Nicu staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Iosue Nicu has been cut.

Blaster pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Blaster walks into a left hand.
Blaster looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Nicu looks to land a body kick but Blaster moved away.
Blaster looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Blaster walks into a jab.
Nicu slips under a jab from Blaster.
Nicu blocks a jab.
Blaster looks for the body kick but Nicu saw that one coming.
Blaster throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Blaster takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

A looping hook to the body misses from Blaster. Nicu does a little dance to reset his feet.
Nicu throws a front kick that sends Blaster stumbling back into the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Blaster is breathing heavily.
Blaster throws a head kick but Nicu moves out of range.
Blaster takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Nicu goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

and Nicu counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Blaster has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Nicu finds it's way round the side to connect with Blaster's head.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Iosue Nicu dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Blaster might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Blaster's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Nicu connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Blaster scrambles back to his feet.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Nicu in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

The fighters circle momentarily. Blaster darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Blaster crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Nicu - the referee stops the clock and Blaster gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Nicu. Blaster manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Iosue Nicu decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
Master Blaster spoke after the fight, saying 'It was that little dude on my shoulder that done fucked me up. God he's got an annoying voice. He's kinda heavy too.'.
