Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alfred Hitscock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Redman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hitscock comes into the arena with My Drinking Problem blaring out of the sound system. Redman has chosen Put Your Lights On as his entrance music. Alfred Hitscock had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redman lands a body shot.
Hitscock misses the body punch
and Redman counters with a left to the body.
Hitscock connects with a jab.
Good exchange - Redman coming out on top.
Redman lands a nice hook to Hitscock's body. Hitscock takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Redman ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hitscock moves away.

Hitscock throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Redman sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Redman takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

A quick step to the side and Hitscock tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Redman throws a leg kick which misses Hitscock's front leg but catches the back leg as Hitscock tries to avoid it.
A nice inside leg kick there by Hitscock. That's going to slow Redman down.
Hitscock throws a lazy right hand but Redman sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Redman fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Hitscock tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Redman was well out of range. Poor timing from Hitscock.

Redman is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Hitscock rather than just go for the knockout.

Hitscock throws a chopping leg kick but Redman manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Redman throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hitscock lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Redman has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Redman and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Alfred Hitscock will probably get the nod.
That's time! Hitscock's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Hitscock swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hitscock takes a swing at Redman's ribcage but misses.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Hitscock.
Hitscock fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Redman is out of range.
As Hitscock backs off Redman throws a huge counter combo but Hitscock manages to avoid it all.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Redman makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Hitscock has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Redman after a bit of a struggle.
Redman is pushing Hitscock up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Redman's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Redman doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Redman throws a front kick aimed at Hitscock's knee but Hitscock avoids it well.

Hitscock fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Redman.
Hitscock fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Redman looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Hitscock throws a looping overhand right but Redman ducks down to avoid it.
Redman is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Hitscock with a body shot.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Alfred Hitscock.
I think Hitscock has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
