Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yngve Stolt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David C. Marvin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marvin. Stolt comes to the cage accompanied by Dropkick murphys - Johnny i hardly knew ya. Marvin has chosen Superman Theme as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yngve Stolt! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, David C. Marvin! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marvin misses with an attempted mid kick.
Stolt throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Marvin counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Stolt wants to sweep here but Marvin controlling him for the moment. Stolt trying to keep a closed guard but Marvin is proving a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stolt is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Marvin is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stolt looking to hit a scissor sweep but Marvin is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marvin trying to control but Stolt is working from the bottom. Stolt has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Stolt swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Marvin.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Nice body punch from Stolt. A left lands for Stolt. Stolt scores with a spinning back kick! Marvin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Marvin tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Stolt uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Marvin has time to react. Stolt jabbing away but nothing is landing. Stolt loads up on a big right hand but Marvin slips the punch. Marvin tries to land a front kick but Stolt steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Stolt throws a head kick that misses so Marvin counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Marvin is fighting to break Stolt's control of his arms but Stolt is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marvin passes easily into side control. Nice work. Marvin staying calm. Marvin wants to control but Stolt is keeping him busy. Stolt taking punishment in the form of punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Stolt manages to get back to half guard. Stolt is not content to let Marvin control the position. Stolt wants to get back to full guard but Marvin has passed into side control. Marvin wants to control but Stolt is keeping him busy. Marvin might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Stolt haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Marvin has Stolt pushed against the cage. Stolt goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Marvin is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Stolt throws a knee to the head but misses.
Our sources have told us that Stolt has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight. Stolt is trying to push Marvin away but Marvin has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Stolt.

Stolt lands with a right to the head. A head punch blocked on the inside by Marvin. Marvin slowing the pace effectively. Marvin displaying some good clinch control by pressing Stolt up against the cage. Stolt fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Marvin blocks an uppercut.
Stolt misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Marvin tries to pull guard but Stolt holds him up against the cage and eventually Marvin drops back down to his feet.

A head kick misses from Stolt. Marvin with the counter takedown but Stolt avoids it easily. Yngve Stolt is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Marvin is trying hard to land a takedown here. Stolt sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Stolt was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Stolt misses with a jab, cross combination.

Stolt is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Marvin can do to turn this around? Marvin perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stolt is trying to maintain the position but Marvin is very close to passing his half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Marvin is looking to take a break and control but Stolt is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Stolt bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Marvin's head backwards. Marvin moves out of range of the strikes. Marvin is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Marvin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stolt as he avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Good leg kick by Stolt there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Marvin is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Stolt lands a nice shot to the body.
Stolt stuns Marvin with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Stolt paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Stolt misses with a wild body shot. Marvin staying out of range there. Stolt fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Marvin avoids a punch combination nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Stolt fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Marvin has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Marvin throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Stolt tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Marvin is in Stolt's guard. Stolt trying to control the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Marvin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Marvin stands and throws Stolt's legs to the side, diving into side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Stolt manages to work his way to half guard, despite Marvin's best efforts. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

An inside leg kick lands from Stolt. Stolt misses with a right hand and Marvin counters with a takedown into side control. Stolt sneaks back into half guard. Marvin stalling. Marvin throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Stolt wants to control but Marvin postures up. Marvin trying to control the position but Stolt is working away. The ground and pound from Marvin seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Yngve Stolt is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Marvin avoids the body shot from Stolt.
Marvin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Marvin pivots, looking for a leg kick but Stolt is out of range and Marvin settles back down. Marvin pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Marvin tries to land a body kick and Stolt counters with a lovely straight right hand! Left hook, right uppercut from Stolt. Stolt buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Stolt throws a jab when Marvin was well out of range. And Marvin tries to counter it with a takedown but Stolt pushes his down on his head and steps out. Marvin takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Stolt scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Marvin jabbing away but nothing is landing. Stolt throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
David C. Marvin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Stolt throws a nice inside leg kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Yngve Stolt showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Stolt, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
