Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alex Summers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benjamin Barbu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Alex Summers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Benjamin Barbu!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Summers misses with a body kick.
Barbu lands with a straight right. Summers didn't see that one coming.
Summers throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Summers scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Barbu shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Summers's guard.
Summers tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Summers lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Barbu pulls Summers in close to prevent any damage.
Barbu bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Summers's guard.

Summers doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Summers can't keep his opponent in guard - Barbu advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Summers is controlling Barbu's position as best he can from this difficult position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Summers wants to control but Barbu is keeping busy and won't allow it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Barbu tries to pass the half guard into mount. Summers knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Summers wants to improve his position but Barbu is controlling well.

Summers works his way to full guard. Good work.
Barbu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Summers swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Barbu looking to improve position, pressing down on Summers's thigh with his hand. Summers seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Barbu paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Barbu's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Summers picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
