Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricky Blazer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 13 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Flavius Odoacer! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Andrew Berry and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blazer slips a straight right by Odoacer. Odoacer has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Odoacer with a body punch. A glancing blow. Blazer has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Samran Muay Thai in the buildup to the fight. A looping hook to the body misses from Odoacer. Blazer does a little dance to reset his feet. Blazer throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Flavius Odoacer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Odoacer misses with a right hand and Blazer counters with a nice uppercut. Odoacer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Odoacer misses with a right hand and Blazer counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Blazer tries to clinch but fails miserably and Odoacer counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Blazer moves out of range as Odoacer strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Odoacer uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Blazer. Odoacer steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Blazer. Odoacer stalks Blazer and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Blazer's face. Blazer staggers backwards, shaken. This has been an exciting period of action! Blazer uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Odoacer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Odoacer connects with a single shot there. Blazer swings for the body but Odoacer moves out of range.
Odoacer loads up on a big right hand but Blazer slips the punch. Blazer swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Odoacer loads up on a big right hand but Blazer slips the punch. A little feinted left hand from Blazer on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Odoacer misses the jab. An attempted straight right counter from Blazer misses the target. A shot to the body from Odoacer misses and Blazer cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Blazer tries to clinch up but Odoacer circles away and keeps his distance. Odoacer thows a left - swing and a miss! A big right from Blazer misses. Odoacer cracks Blazer with an open hand slap. Odoacer looks to throw the jab but Blazer is out of range. Blazer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Odoacer swats him away and circles back towards the center. Blazer is stalking Odoacer. Odoacer circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Blazer, and it's lights out! Odoacer really payed the price for that rookie mistake.

Our winner, Ricky Blazer, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
