Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marty Robbins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robbins comes to the cage accompanied by Big Iron. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nate Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Robbins misses.
Diaz throws out a counter right but Robbins avoids it with no problem.
Diaz throws a wild body kick that Robbins sees coming a mile off.
Robbins shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Diaz eats them both and turns towards Robbins to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Nate Diaz has been cut.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Diaz has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Robbins circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Diaz to the canvas! Diaz doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Robbins keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

After the fight, Marty Robbins was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
