Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mick Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noah McAdoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shaw comes to the cage accompanied by Silver Bullet - Bring Forth The Guillotine. McAdoo has chosen Rise and Shine as his entrance music. Mick Shaw has the better chin. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mick Shaw! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Noah McAdoo! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Shaw does no damage. A jab from McAdoo does it's job there. Shaw takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Shaw lands with a nice body punch. Shaw tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Shaw blocks a leg kick. Shaw is looking to counter with a body kick. McAdoo tries to clinch up but Shaw circles away and keeps his distance. Shaw has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Netherlands Top Team & KT in the buildup to the fight. Noah McAdoo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A bone on bone clash there as Shaw blocks the leg kick.
Shaw swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. McAdoo throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Shaw cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shaw ducks under a wild hook from McAdoo. McAdoo throws a leg kick but Shaw checks it. McAdoo attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. McAdoo just misses with a punch to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. McAdoo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Shaw counters with a slapping leg kick. McAdoo throws an overhand right that lands on Shaw's shoulder, as Shaw tries to avoid the shot. Shaw seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Shaw fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt McAdoo. A big right from McAdoo misses. As McAdoo backs away, Shaw returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Shaw bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Shaw moves out of range of the strikes. An inside leg kick lands from McAdoo. Shaw throws a body shot but no joy. Shaw lands with an uppercut that bounces McAdoo off the cage and back into range. Shaw throws a right and a left that McAdoo avoids nicely. Shaw will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McAdoo throws a left and a right that both miss
and Shaw counters with a straight right hand. McAdoo cracks the inside of Shaw's front leg. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McAdoo tries to work over Shaw's front leg with a kick but Shaw checks it. Shaw feinted there with a counter leg kick. Shaw stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from McAdoo. Shaw is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. McAdoo stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Shaw. McAdoo connects with a high kick. McAdoo jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
McAdoo throws a predictable looking body shot
and Shaw counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. McAdoo throws a solid leg kick but Shaw takes the impact on his shin and smiles at McAdoo. McAdoo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Shaw. Shaw was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. McAdoo swings away with a body shot that misses
and Shaw cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. McAdoo avoids the body shot from Shaw.
Shaw is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shaw takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
McAdoo is looking to score with low kicks. McAdoo misses with a lunging right hand
and Shaw counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. McAdoo throws a lazy uppercut
and Shaw counters with an outside leg kick.

Shaw lands a two punch combo.
McAdoo looks to land a body kick but Shaw moved away. Shaw throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. McAdoo misses with a right hand and Shaw counters with a three punch combo that has McAdoo backing up. McAdoo nods at Shaw to acknowledge the strikes. Good work by Shaw as he checks the leg kick. It looked like Shaw was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from McAdoo. Shaw throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Noah McAdoo has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Shaw misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shaw has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from McAdoo finds it's way round the side to connect with Shaw's head. Nice uppercut lands for Shaw. That snapped McAdoo's head back.

McAdoo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Shaw, pushing him back against the cage. Shaw breaks the clinch.
A nice inside leg kick there by McAdoo. That's going to slow Shaw down. McAdoo throws a big shot that misses. McAdoo swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Shaw. Shaw keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Shaw throws a big counter combination but McAdoo scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Nice body kick there by McAdoo. Shaw moves out of range of the leg kick from McAdoo. Shaw appears to be looking for a big counter. Shaw thuds his right hand into McAdoo's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Mick Shaw will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Noah McAdoo's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Shaw counters with a series of strikes. McAdoo will be more careful next time no doubt. Shaw looks up at the clock. Bad move! McAdoo lands a right hand from hell, dropping Shaw. McAdoo pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Noah McAdoo! Noah McAdoo seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
