Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Norman Parke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blind Shaman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shaman comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Shaman's Dream kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Norman Parke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 2, fighting out of New York, Blind Shaman!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaman looks to throw the jab but Parke is out of range.
Parke throws a quick counter head kick but Shaman was just out of range.
Shaman ducks under a wild hook from Parke.
Shaman walks into a left hand.
Shaman looks for a takedown but Parke sprawls well.
Shaman ducks under a wild hook from Parke.
Shaman throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Parke misses with a lunging right hand
and Shaman counters with a left to the body.
Parke defending well as Shaman loads up on a big left hand.
Shaman moves out of range of the leg kick from Parke.
Shaman tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Parke connects with a nice short shot to Shaman's temple.

Shaman utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Parke wants to control from the top but Shaman keeps moving.
Shaman is trying to control the position but Parke postures up.
Parke throws a big elbow that misses.

Parke lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Parke fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Shaman has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Shaman tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Parke defends well and Shaman ends up having to push Parke into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

That was a close second round but I would say that Norman Parke will probably get the nod.

Shaman misses the jab.
Parke throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Shaman sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Parke clinches up against the cage.
Parke has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Shaman avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Shaman tries to land a knee to the head but Parke blocks with his arms.
Shaman is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Parke lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.


It looks like Blind Shaman has been cut.
Parke goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Shaman content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Parke pushes Shaman back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
