Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Whitehorse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Koulouraki Souvlaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Whitehorse might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Builders and The Butchers - Black Dresses. Souvlaki has chosen Greek Anthem as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Koulouraki Souvlaki was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

12 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jacob Whitehorse! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Koulouraki Souvlaki! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Souvlaki slips under a jab. Whitehorse misses with a wild body shot. Souvlaki fails with the takedown. Souvlaki closes this distance looking for a takedown but Whitehorse circles away. Whitehorse displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Souvlaki. Jacob Whitehorse has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Koulouraki Souvlaki. Whitehorse lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Whitehorse doesn't manage to clinch there - Souvlaki circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Whitehorse slips under a jab from Souvlaki. Whitehorse seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Souvlaki moves out of range of the strikes. Souvlaki keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Whitehorse defends it easily. Whitehorse sitting in guard here, content to control. Souvlaki escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Whitehorse gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Whitehorse is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Souvlaki is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Souvlaki looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Whitehorse passes into side control.

Whitehorse throws a shot from downtown. Souvlaki moves away and avoids it. Whitehorse throws out a loose jab but Souvlaki uses good head movement to avoid it. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Whitehorse lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Souvlaki has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Souvlaki and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Souvlaki has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Whitehorse.
