Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Enzo Dimelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renato Ibanez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Enzo Dimelo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Renato Ibanez's chin.

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, William Gold and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ibanez tries to keep at a distance but Dimelo has taken the fight into the clinch.
Dimelo lands a left hand.
Dimelo doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Ibanez jumps guard but Dimelo turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
A right handed body shot lands from Dimelo.
A left hand lands to the body for Dimelo.
Dimelo makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Dimelo has a couple of punches blocked by Ibanez.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dimelo pushes Ibanez back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Dimelo takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Ibanez has Dimelo pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Dimelo manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Ibanez tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Ibanez tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Dimelo smiles and moves away.
Ibanez scores with a takedown into Dimelo's guard.

Ibanez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dimelo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ibanez is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Ibanez postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Dimelo is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ibanez, into his guard.
Ibanez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dimelo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dimelo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Ibanez pushes a forearm under Dimelo's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Dimelo is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Renato Ibanez was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
