Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Kingston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Conner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Daniel Kingston! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Damien Conner! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kingston throws the left hand but Conner avoids the punch easily. Excellent takedown into side control there by Kingston. Kingston tries to advance to mount but Conner denies him. Kingston wants to take a breather but Conner manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Kingston. Kingston is looking to work some ground and pound but Conner has wrist control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kingston stopping the sweep attempt from Conner. Kingston landing some decent shots from guard. Conner really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kingston. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kingston is stalling in the full guard. Kingston has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kingston wants to control from the top but Conner keeps moving. Kingston throwing strikes but missing. Kingston is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Kingston seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Conner for as long as he can get away with. Kingston wants to control from the top but Conner keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Conner is controlling Kingston's posture. Conner wants to stand but Kingston is controlling the position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Conner scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Sloppy strikes from Kingston. Those never looked like landing. Nice takedown defense from Conner. No joy for Kingston on that attempt. Conner lands a nice shot that snaps Kingston's head back.
Kingston dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Damien Conner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Good exchange - Conner coming out on top. Conner steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kingston. Kingston works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A swing and a miss from Kingston. Conner digs a good body shot into Kingston's ribs. Conner connects with a body shot that sends Kingston's belly button to the back. Kingston ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Conner moves away. Conner lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Conner throws out a loose jab but Kingston uses good head movement to avoid it. Conner lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Kingston misses with a jab to the body
and Conner counters with a lovely straight right hand! Kingston throws a big shot that misses. Conner moves into range and connects with a jab. Conner lands with a shot to the body. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Conner.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kingston throws a leg kick but Conner checks it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Conner walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Conner takes one to the side of the head.
Kingston gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Conner counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Kingston seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Conner throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Conner fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kingston manages to avoid it. Conner smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Kingston throws a right and a left that both miss. Kingston forces Conner back against the cage and clinches. Conner escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kingston doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Conner misses with a double jab
and Kingston counters with a lovely straight right hand! Conner clinches. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Damien Conner dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Despite the aggression on Conner's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Conner looks to score with a jab to the body but Kingston is just out of range. Decent striking displayed by Conner there. Conner ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Conner scores with a decent looking hook.
Kingston is rocked! Damien Conner seems to be getting the better of the standup. Nice body kick from Conner. Conner tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Conner thuds his shin into the meat of Kingston's side. Conner uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kingston. Kingston blocks a head kick by Conner.
Kingston is looking to counter punch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Horrible takedown attempt by Kingston or perhaps it was just good defense by Conner, which made it look bad. Kingston lands the left hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kingston swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Conner just misses with a punch to the body.
Kingston looks to throw the jab but Conner is out of range. Kingston shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Conner as he jumps to the side. Conner scores with a jab to the jaw. Kingston moves out of range of the body kick. Kingston works Conner's body with a nice hook. Conner looks to land a combination but Kingston avoids it well. Kingston throwing a counter right hand but Conner manages to avoid it. Kingston throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Conner sees it coming and avoids it easily. Jab from Conner. Conner takes one on the button. Kingston misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Conner moves into the clinch. Conner blocks an uppercut.
Conner effectively controlling the action here. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kingston wants a takedown but no success here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel Kingston. That's going to take a lot out of him. Conner can't find room to land a body shot as Kingston controls the action.
A short right from Conner on the inside. Conner pushes Kingston back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Conner misses with a punch on the inside.
Conner breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kingston tries for a takedown but Conner sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Conner tries to clinch up. Conner has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Kingston lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kingston pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Kingston chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Conner can pounce on him.
Nice shot by Kingston. Conner ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Kingston throws a lazy uppercut
and Conner counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Oh Kingston is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Conner misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kingston takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Conner lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Conner throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Kingston colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Conner as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Kingston is left battered and dazed whilst Conner and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Damien Conner! After winning the bout, Damien Conner thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
