Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gerry Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johan Attila (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kelly comes to the cage accompanied by Alternative Ulster - SLF. Attila has chosen Thunderstruck as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Gerry Kelly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Johan Attila!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Attila throws a sloppy body shot
and Attila takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Attila has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

and Kelly counters with a straight right hand.

Kelly fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Attila manages to avoid it.
Kelly has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

That was a close round but I would say that Gerry Kelly will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Kelly enables Attila to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kelly manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Kelly is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Attila presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Gerry Kelly.
