Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chad Murray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liam Donnelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murray comes to the cage accompanied by Dead man walking. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murray stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Chad Murray seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Donnelly works the jab nicely.
Donnelly jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A looping hook to the body misses from Donnelly. Murray does a little dance to reset his feet.
Donnelly has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Murray takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Murray walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Donnelly checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Donnelly throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Murray lands with a hook. Donnelly tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Murray throws a chopping leg kick but Donnelly manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Donnelly is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Murray .

Murray keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Donnelly throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Donnelly moves out of range as Murray strikes.

Murray scores with a nice head shot.
Murray misses with a hook.
Donnelly finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Murray tries to work over Donnelly's front leg with a kick but Donnelly checks it.
Donnelly throws a shot from downtown. Murray moves away and avoids it.
Murray lands with a good body shot.

Donnelly moves forwards but Murray connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Donnelly lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

and Murray counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Murray takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Donnelly uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Murray .
Murray is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Good leg kick by Murray there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Donnelly clobbers Murray with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Murray looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Murray misses with a wild body shot.
Donnelly throws out a counter right but Murray avoids it with no problem.
Donnelly swings for the body but Murray moves out of range.
Murray scores with a nice strike.
Murray connects with a nice looking jab.
Murray lands a lovely overhand right.
Murray uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Donnelly.

Donnelly drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Murray misses with a lunging right hand
letting Donnelly counter with a right hand.
Donnelly feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Murray sprawling to the canvas! Murray rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Donnelly finish him?!
Murray is rocked!
Donnelly sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Murray 's defenses. It connects perfectly with Murray 's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Liam Donnelly!
Liam Donnelly bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
