Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Whitehorse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Brophy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Whitehorse comes into the arena with The Builders and The Butchers - Black Dresses blaring out of the sound system. Brophy is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Down With The Sickness - Disturbed. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryan Brophy! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Whitehorse ducks right into an uppercut from Brophy. A slow jab from Whitehorse misses its intended target. Whitehorse wants to land a leg kick but Brophy is out of range. Whitehorse throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Brophy steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. A jab from Whitehorse does it's job there. Jab by Brophy. Whitehorse takes a swing at Brophy's ribcage but misses. Whitehorse tried to score with a low kick but Brophy checks it. Brophy circles away out of range and recomposes himself. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Brophy waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Whitehorse. Whitehorse tries to counter with a takedown but Brophy is quick to defend against it. Whitehorse ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brophy moves away. Ryan Brophy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Whitehorse shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Whitehorse trying to control the position from guard on top but Brophy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Brophy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Whitehorse working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Brophy's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Whitehorse connects with an inside leg kick. Whitehorse shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Brophy's guard. Whitehorse trying to control the position from guard on top but Brophy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've been hearing that Whitehorse has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Brophy is on top in guard.
