Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Johnny Danielson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liam McGuiness (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Danielson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Cult of Personality . McGuiness has chosen The Boys are Back by Dropkick Murphys as his entrance music. Johnny Danielson could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Liam McGuiness's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Johnny Danielson ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
26 - 22 - 1, fighting out of London, Liam McGuiness! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Ryoma Takatsuka and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Danielson throws a hook to the side of McGuiness's head but McGuiness sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Danielson swings for the body but McGuiness moves out of range.
Danielson ducks under a wild hook from McGuiness. McGuiness looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. The fighters circling - McGuiness throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Danielson moves out of range as McGuiness strikes. Nice defenses there by Danielson . Danielson takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Danielson 's hands are dropping dangerously low here and McGuiness connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Danielson scrambles back to his feet. McGuiness takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
McGuiness misses with an attempted mid kick.
McGuiness looks to land a right hand but Danielson moved out of range. Danielson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from McGuiness. McGuiness scores with a jab. McGuiness has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. McGuiness drops a shoulder and throws a biiiig uppercut that drops Danielson onto his butt! Danielson pops straight back to his feet to convince the referee that he's OK to continue.
Danielson is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McGuiness misses with the combination.
Oh Danielson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! McGuiness throws a looping overhand right but Danielson ducks down to avoid it. Danielson seems to have got his legs back now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Danielson moves into range and connects with a jab. Danielson misses with a straight left. Danielson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping McGuiness at a distance.
Danielson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. McGuiness scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Danielson to his hands and knees! The ref pushes McGuiness away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Danielson got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McGuiness blocks a head kick by Danielson .
McGuiness goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. McGuiness lands with an overhand left. McGuiness closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Danielson out cold! Danielson corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Liam McGuiness! In his post fight interview, Liam McGuiness started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
