Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vicente Lafayette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Nada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vicente Lafayette!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Frank Nada!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lafayette thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Nada if he has to take too many more of those.

And Nada tries to counter it with a takedown but Lafayette pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Nada has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

and Lafayette counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Nada!

Lafayette is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Nada is pressing down on Lafayette's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Nada seems to have recovered his senses.
Nada pulls Lafayette in to control the position.
Nada is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Nada is nestled in close to Lafayette, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Nada works to advance to full mount. Lafayette defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Nada seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lafayette does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Nada takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Lafayette moves in looking to clinch but Nada pushes him off.
Lafayette looks to land a left hand but Nada moved out of range nicely.
Nada lands a nice hook to Lafayette's body. Lafayette takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

A little jabbing left from Nada on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Lafayette displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Nada.
Lafayette is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Nada connects with a jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lafayette will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Nada might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Lafayette connects with a good right hand that stumbles Nada. Nada circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Nada takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Good leg kick by Lafayette there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Lafayette looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Lafayette walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Lafayette throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Nada sees it coming and avoids it easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Nada! But no joy.

Lafayette fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Nada is out of range.
A nice side step and Nada releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Frank Nada will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Nada misses with a lunging right hand
and Lafayette comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Nada stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Lafayette is on him like rabid pit bull! Nada slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
