Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bogdan Stoica (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Myres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stoica comes to the cage accompanied by Eminem - Phenomenal. Myres has chosen In the End by Linkin Park as his entrance music. Shane Myres will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myres fails with a takedown attempt.
Myres wants to clinch up but Stoica keeps it at a distance.
Myres looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Stoica drops down looking for a counter takedown but Myres sprawls and moves away.
Stoica throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Myres sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Myres shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Stoica is trying to defend but Myres finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Myres is working for a kimura but Stoica is defending it quite comfortably.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Myres seems to be working for a kimura but Stoica defends the submission attempt.
Myres is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Myres is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Stoica is just riding it out for now. Myres eventually gives up the hold.
Myres is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Stoica is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Shane Myres decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
Bogdan Stoica spoke after the fight, saying 'You go BIG or you go home.'.
