Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ramses Kolmas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Macho Randy!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Randy uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kolmas.
A jab from Randy does it's job there.

Kolmas throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Randy was covering up waiting for the punch and Kolmas finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Kolmas wants to control from the top but Randy keeps moving.
Kolmas throws a big right hand that misses.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Randy looks for the body kick but Kolmas saw that one coming.

Kolmas shoots in and gets a takedown into Randy's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kolmas accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Kolmas might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kolmas accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Kolmas is looking for a kimura but Randy is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kolmas to get the leverage.
Kolmas has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Kolmas has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kolmas is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kolmas misses with a head shot. Randy uses the momentum to regain guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Kolmas closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
A nice left hand lands by Randy.
Kolmas drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Randy gets the underhooks and prevents it.

It looks like Macho Randy has been cut.
Randy doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Kolmas pushes off an throws an elbow but Randy leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Randy throws a punch but it's blocked by Kolmas.

Kolmas has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Randy is trying to keep an underhook but Kolmas manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Kolmas is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Randy has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Randy!

Let's hope that Randy has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Randy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kolmas has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Randy has managed to get both his arms back between Kolmas's legs - danger averted.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ramses Kolmas will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Randy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kolmas manages to avoid it.
