Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tom McGettigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nadir Vergara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Columbo Gatti and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from McGettigan.
Vergara with a lazy takedown attempt
and McGettigan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
McGettigan dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Vergara fails to land the takedown.
Vergara shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McGettigan as he jumps to the side.
Tom McGettigan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nadir Vergara.

Nadir Vergara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McGettigan stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

McGettigan stuns Vergara with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
McGettigan takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

McGettigan jabs Vergara to the body, keeping him at a distance.
McGettigan bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Vergara's head.

McGettigan lands a nice shot that snaps Vergara's head back.
McGettigan pounces like a tiger and cracks Vergara with a vicious hook! Vergara is down but not out! McGettigan follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
