Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between William Blake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Oketch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blake comes to the cage accompanied by Dead Man. Vincent Oketch has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 10 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, William Blake! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
26 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Vincent Oketch! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blake misses with a straight right. Oketch doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Oketch misses with a head kick.
Oketch scores with a decent looking hook. Oketch takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Oketch throws a shot from downtown. Blake moves away and avoids it. Blake connects with a body shot that sends Oketch's belly button to the back. Blake fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Oketch has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Jab, jab by Blake - just one landing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Blake is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Blake misses with a left hand and Oketch makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Blake throws a lazy body kick and Oketch counters with a low kick, right behind Blake 's knee. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A shot to the liver by Blake. Beautiful body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. A clash of legs there as Oketch blocks the low kick. Blake sizes up Oketch with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Blake lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Oketch takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Blake connects with a looping right hand.
Blake with a body punch. A glancing blow. Oketch throws a nice outside leg kick. Blake throws a right and a left that Oketch avoids nicely. A little jabbing left from Oketch on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Blake seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Blake scores with a jab to the head.
Blake blocks a head kick by Oketch.
Blake with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Blake connects with a solid leg kick. Blake smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. A head kick misses from Oketch. Blake attempts a counter takedown but Oketch avoids it well and moves away. Blake throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Oketch was covering up waiting for the punch and Blake finishes the takedown easily into guard. Blake trying to control the position from guard on top but Oketch is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Oketch preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Blake is looking to work some ground and pound but Oketch has wrist control. Blake wants to pass the guard but Oketch is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blake stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Oketch throws up his legs and catches Blake in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Blake tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Oketch! That came out of nowhere!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Vincent Oketch! Vincent Oketch is the new bantamweight champion! An out of breath Vincent Oketch thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
