Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Steel Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Brophy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brophy has chosen Last Caress - Metallica as his entrance music. John Brophy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Steel Penn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, John Brophy! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Colin Fray and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brophy lands a head kick. Penn smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Brophy checks a leg kick. Brophy looks like he wants to counter punch here. A punch combination from Penn misses. Brophy chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Penn drops his hands momentarily and Brophy takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Penn bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Brophy's head. Brophy throws a right and a left that Penn avoids nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brophy misses with an uppercut
and Penn counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Penn cracks Brophy with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Penn has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Brophy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Penn scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Brophy to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage. Penn throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Penn with a jab. John Brophy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brophy misses with an attempted mid kick.
Penn is looking to counter punch. Penn falls off balance throwing a combination
and Brophy counters with a lovely straight right hand! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Brophy misses with a hook to the body
and Penn cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Penn tries to move into range but Brophy moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Penn takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brophy misses with a hook. Penn appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Brophy moves into range and clinches up with Penn. Brophy misses with some punches.
Brophy throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Penns head. Penn's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Brophy lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Penn ducks under a wild hook from Brophy. Brophy scores with a hook to the body. Penn takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Brophy closes the distance and pushes Penn back into the ropes. Brophy tries to land knees in the clinch but Penn avoids the damage to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steel Penn should take that round, based on the knockdown. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
A head kick by Penn misses and as Penn resets, Brophy pounces with a savage head kick that drops Penn to the mat! Penn looks wobbly but gets back to his feet on the count of 5. The referee continues the count to 8 then steps aside to let these two guys get back at it!
Penn is rocked! Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Brophy. An attempted straight right counter from Penn misses the target. Penn lands a leg kick that knocks Brophy off balance momentarily. Penn throws an overhand right that lands on Brophy's shoulder, as Brophy tries to avoid the shot. Penn connects with an inside leg kick. Brophy fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Brophy bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Oh Penn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Brophy closes the distance and catches Penn with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Penn is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Penn is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Penn is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Brophy takes it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). John Brophy! A relieved looking John Brophy thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
