5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jackson Bishop! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Alyssa Summers and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Studge takes a swing at Bishop's ribcage but misses. Bishop scores with a jab to the jaw. Studge ducks under a wild hook from Bishop. Studge thows a left - swing and a miss! Studge looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. A telegraphed right hand from Bishop misses the target. Studge lands with a right hand. Bishop slips under a jab. Studge jabbing away but nothing is landing. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Bishop! But no joy. Bishop scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Studge is looking to get back to his feet here but Bishop is keeping cool and he's managed to take Studge's back. Our spies down at at Forest Hill Gym inform us that Bishop has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bishop really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Studge.

Studge has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bishop finds it's way round the side to connect with Studge's head. Bishop misses with a straight left. Bishop is still on wobbly legs! Can Studge finish him? Studge tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Bishop seems to have recovered his senses. A quick uppercut on the inside from Studge. Studge dips a shoulder and cracks Bishop with a mighty uppercut! Bishop falls back against the cage and Studge unloads with a barrage of strikes! Bishop is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Studge screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Danny Studge! Danny Studge is the new lightweight champion! Danny Studge seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website. The defeated Jackson Bishop had this to say: 'I think what I need to do is shy away from fighting for a while to really focus on my improving my abilities. I got glaring weakness in certain areas, but I'm sure I can fix them given time. Sorry to disappoint my fans'.
