Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Yoshi Takano!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Antonio Alcacer !
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooooh!!! Takano has knocked Alcacer down with a huge combo! Takano steps away and waves a wobbly Alcacer back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Antonio Alcacer has been cut.
Alcacer fails in his attempt to clinch.
Alcacer pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
We've been told by Takano's head coaches at . . . that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
A solid leg kick lands there for Takano.
The fight stays on the outside here - Alcacer looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Takano scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Alcacer misses with a body punch
letting Takano counter with a right hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Alcacer closes the distance and clinches.
Alcacer has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Takano avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Takano lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Takano drops Alcacer onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Alcacer is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Alcacer is rocked!
Takano prevents the takedown attempt.
Alcacer is still on wobbly legs! Can Takano finish him?
Alcacer tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Takano smiles and moves away.
Alcacer seems to have recovered his senses.
Yoshi Takano has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Antonio Alcacer .
Takano circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Alcacer tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Takano wins by KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Yoshi Takano!
Yoshi Takano retains his heavyweight title!
After winning the bout, Yoshi Takano thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
