Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between AJ Clifford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sjaardsen Hooj (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sjaardsen Hooj is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, AJ Clifford !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sjaardsen Hooj!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clifford moves out of range of the strikes.
Clifford half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Clifford thumps Hooj with a low kick.
Clifford shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hooj but Hooj pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Hooj throws a shot from downtown. Clifford moves away and avoids it.
Clifford takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Hooj stuffs the takedown attempt from Clifford . Clifford gets slowly back to his feet.
Hooj bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Clifford 's head backwards.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Clifford is looking to clinch but Hooj is avoiding it.
Clifford keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hooj.
Hooj swings for the body but Clifford moves out of range.
Clifford tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hooj defends well and Clifford ends up having to push Hooj into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for AJ Clifford . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hooj bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Clifford misses with a kick to the body.
Hooj lands a head shot.
Hooj throws the left hand but Clifford avoids the punch easily.
Hooj ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Clifford moves away.
Hooj looks to land a right hand but Clifford moved out of range.
Hooj lands a body shot.
Hooj fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Clifford manages to avoid it.
Hooj looks to land a combination. Clifford sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
A jab from Hooj misses.
Hooj drops Clifford with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Clifford looks back up at him and smiles so Hooj waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Clifford is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hooj throws an uppercut from hell that sends Clifford clean off his feet! He's out cold! Hooj stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sjaardsen Hooj!
