Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vasili Komaroff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maximus Ragnarsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
19 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vasili Komaroff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Maximus Ragnarsson!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Chad Campbell and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ragnarsson throws a looping overhand right but Komaroff ducks down to avoid it.
Komaroff throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Ragnarsson.
It looks like Maximus Ragnarsson has been cut.
Ragnarsson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Komaroff circles away quickly and effectively.
Komaroff throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Komaroff misses with a straight left.
Komaroff does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Ragnarsson closes the distance but Komaroff moves to the side
and Komaroff counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Ragnarsson!

Komaroff throws a strike aimed at the side of Ragnarsson's head but Ragnarsson avoids it well.

Komaroff passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Ragnarsson!
Komaroff has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Komaroff throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Ragnarsson because Komaroff loaded up on that one.

Ragnarsson tries to lock up and control but Komaroff gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Ragnarsson is bucking up trying to escape but Komaroff cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Komaroff throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Ragnarsson because Komaroff loaded up on that one.

Komaroff lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Komaroff cracks Ragnarsson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Komaroff breaks from Ragnarsson's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Ragnarsson is still in real trouble! Can Komaroff finish him?
Komaroff drops a big elbow. That's hurt Ragnarsson! More shots from Komaroff and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vasili Komaroff!
An out of breath Vasili Komaroff thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
