And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roman Gruzinsky!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Ackerman and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gruzinsky throws a nice outside leg kick.
Gruzinsky throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Tynkkynen stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
A swing and a miss from Gruzinsky.
Tynkkynen swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Gruzinsky throws a leg kick but Tynkkynen moved away.
Gruzinsky swings for the body but Tynkkynen moves out of range.
Tynkkynen tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Gruzinsky manages to circle out of the way.
Gruzinsky blocks a head kick by Tynkkynen.
Tynkkynen throws a head kick that misses.
Gruzinsky ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Tynkkynen lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.


It looks like Roman Gruzinsky has been cut.

Roman Gruzinsky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tynkkynen scores with a jab to the body.

Gruzinsky has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

and Gruzinsky counters with a straight right hand.

Gruzinsky feints and then cracks Tynkkynen's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Tynkkynen down.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Tynkkynen takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Jeez, Rauno Tynkkynen's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Gruzinsky, as that shot connected.
Gruzinsky does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Tynkkynen swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Tynkkynen staying out of range there.
Tynkkynen throws a body shot but no joy.
A lazy left from Gruzinsky finds it's target.
Gruzinsky bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Gruzinsky lunges at Tynkkynen with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Tynkkynen's hand.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Rauno Tynkkynen's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
