Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Frank Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott John (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Frank Ross! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Scott John! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! John throws a sloppy body shot
and Ross connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Ross motions for John to come forward. Ross throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. John throws a wild combination but nothing lands. John throws a body kick that misses. Ross turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. John fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ross. John on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. John lands a two punch combo.
The fighters circling - Ross throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Ross lands a straight punch to the body, keeping John at a distance.
A shot to the body from Ross misses and John counters with a nice low kick that buckles Ross's knee momentarily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! John scores with a kick to the midsection. John throws a body punch but Ross moves out of range. As John backs away, Ross returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Ross jabs John to the body, keeping him at a distance. Ross keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as John checks a leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ross tries to clinch but John moves out of range. That kick from John tenderised Ross's leg. Ross is trying to keep his angry face on. Ross bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. John checks a low kick from Ross. Ross is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by John. Decent striking displayed by Ross there. A looping hook to the body misses from Ross. John does a little dance to reset his feet. Ross does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. John waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ross. Ross takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Ross defending well as John loads up on a big left hand. Frank Ross seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. John instigates a clinch. John landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Ross is breathing heavily. John scores a nice knee to the body.

John throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
That's two minutes gone in the round. John gets through Ross's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Our sources have told us that Ross has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! John presses Ross against the ropes and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Ross misses with the head strike.

It looks like Frank Ross has been cut. John lands a body shot. John misses with a hook to the ribs.

Still in the clinch, John scores with a nice short uppercut. John working some nice short punches in the clinch. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. John pushes Ross back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head. John misses with a body punch.

Scott John dominated that round. The cut man is working on Frank Ross's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.

It appears Ross was looking to counter with a kick there. John throws a leg kick which misses Ross's front leg but catches the back leg as Ross tries to avoid it. Ross jabs John to the body, keeping him at a distance. John has been the more effective fighter overall so far. John works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Ross's hands are dropping dangerously low here and John connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ross scrambles back to his feet. Ross tries a head kick but it misses.
John throws out a leg kick but Ross moves out of range and John only half commits. John circles away from the clinch attempt.
John lands a leg kick that knocks Ross off balance momentarily. Ross throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent John stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. John scores with a slapping inside leg kick. John misses with a looping right. A punch lands to the side of Ross 's head but he takes it in his stride. Good shot there by Ross. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ross throws a leg kick but John moved away. Ross fails in his attempt to clinch.

John throws a quick inside leg kick. Ross misses with a hook. John ducked under it nicely. John throws a body kick that misses. Ross tries to close the distance and clinch up but John swats him away and circles back towards the center. John uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ross.
John is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ross. Ross tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but John was well out of range. Poor timing from Ross. Ross checks a low kick from John. Ross tries to clinch there but John circles away.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! John lands a body shot.

John moves forwards but Ross connects with a nice, crisp jab. Ross lands with an uppercut that bounces John off the ropes and back into range. John throws a shot from downtown. Ross moves away and avoids it. John scores with a jab to the head.
Ross looks to land a body kick but John moved away. Nice body kick from John. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. John throws a right and a left that both miss. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ross is looking to take this fight into the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Scott John showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Frank Ross's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
No joy there for John, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ross thuds a left hand into John's body. John looks for the body kick but Ross saw that one coming. Ross throws a leg kick but John sees it coming and checks it nicely. John throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. John shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Ross lands a nice hook to John's body. John takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. A slow jab from John misses its intended target. Ross was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Ross keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
John looks to land a right hand but Ross moved out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ross tries to clinch there but John circles away.
John is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. John throws a series of punches but Ross moves out of range. John misses with a straight right. John avoids a kick to the body.

and Ross counters with an inside leg kick. Ross takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. John missing with a left hand there. Ross was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Ross seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. John takes a jab right on the kisser.

Ross is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. John utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. John makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Ross fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Ross misses with a hook from the clinch. John lands a body shot. John lands a left hand that snaps the head of Ross backwards. John lands a hook to the side of the head. John lands a right hand. John is working Ross over against the ropes. Ross is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. John is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. John tries a body shot but Ross blocks it.

John lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. The fight moves into the clinch position. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. John obliges. John lands a nice shot to the body. Ross tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. John lands a shot to the body. Nice body punch from John - that landed with a thud.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A short right from John on the inside. John is looking to score with knees to the body. It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over. John lands a body shot. That's one minute gone in the round. Ross's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Oh Ross is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Ross tried to land a shot to the body but connects with John's elbow. John cracks Ross with a nice body shot. John lands a body shot. John creates a bit of space for himself and unleashed what can only be described as a tiger uppercut, straight out of Street Fighter! Ross crashes to the mat! Can he make it back to his feet in time? 3,4,5,6... it doesn't look like he's going to make it! Ross face plants back to the mat and the referee calls off the fight! John takes it with a brutal technical knockout!
