Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, George Bush! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gabriel Skrarski! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Skrarski scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Bush is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Skrarski off and has taken his back! Bush is hanging on to Skrarski's back as he tries to escape.
Good control from Bush. Bush is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Skrarski knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Skrarski for a finish. Skrarski rolls, trying to escape but Bush keeps control of the position.
Bush has good solid back control here. Skrarski trying to control the action but Bush just sinks the hooks in.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bush is persistently looking for the submission but Skrarski is defending it well.
Bush is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bush looking for the choke from the back. Skrarski preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Bush. Bush looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Bush looking to break Skrarski's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Skrarski remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Bush will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Bush has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Skrarski's body.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Skrarski trying to control but not successfully. Bush controlling the position well here. Skrarski rolled but Bush kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
I really don't envy Skrarski right now.

Skrarski trying to move into half guard but instead Bush has managed to sweep! Bush controlling from the top position. Bush postures up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Skrarski utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Bush wants to control from the top but Skrarski keeps moving. Skrarski tries to land a sweep but no joy. Bush pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Skrarski is keeping the position for now. Bush has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Skrarski is proving hard to escape from. Bush throws an elbow that misses. Skrarski uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bush's guard. Nice move by Skrarski!
Bush on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bush tries to get out of the position. Skrarski lands a couple of elbows. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bush is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Skrarski defends well. Skrarski trying to control the position from guard on top but Bush is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
George Bush dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

He's now in Skrarski's guard. Nice move by Bush! Bush's corner is telling him to maintain position. Bush keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Skrarski's head. Bush trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Bush drops back looking for a leg! Skrarski is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Skrarski manages to kick Bush off! Bush jumps back into Skrarski's guard. Bush trying to control the position from guard on top but Skrarski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bush wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Skrarski's closed guard. He's half up but Skrarski has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Skrarski pivots and extends the arm, Bush falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Skrarski! Well done that man!
