Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Drew Barron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franky Page (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Drew Barron! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Franky Page! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Glass and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Page tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Barron swivels and escapes. Barron is looking to counter punch. Barron looks to land a left hand but Page moved out of range nicely. Barron missing with a left hand there. Page was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Barron moves into range and connects with a jab.
It looks like Franky Page has been cut. Page scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Barron kicks Page off and gets back to his feet. Barron has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Lucky Liam's MMA Academy in the buildup to the fight. Barron throws a right and a left that both miss. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Page misses with a takedown attempt - Barron sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Page tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Barron defends well and Page ends up having to push Barron into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Drew Barron has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Franky Page. Page looks for a takedown but Barron sprawls well. Page shoots in looking for a takedown. Barron tries to sprawl out of it but Page keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Barron manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barron cracks Page with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Page looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Barron finish him?
Barron swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Page fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Barron avoids it really well and circles away. It looked like Barron wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. A looping hook to the body misses from Barron. Page does a little dance to reset his feet. Drew Barron is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Barron lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Page circles away quickly and effectively. Page shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Barron pinned against the cage. Barron gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Barron throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
This has been an exciting period of action! Page drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Page is chipping away with strikes.
Page lands a decent elbow from side control. Barron is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Page is controlling him well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Barron trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Page trying to control the position but Barron is working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Barron wants to get back to his feet. Page controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barron is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Page has just dragged him back down to the mat. Barron knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Page on the ground. Barron taking a bit of punishment here - Page scoring with strikes. Barron tries to escape but Page is in control. Page wants to lay and pray for a moment but Barron keeps working. Page lands a few punches from side control. Page works to advance to full mount. Barron defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. You get the feeling that Barron really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Page working Barron over with strikes here. Page content just to control the position here. Barron is bucking up trying to escape but Page cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Page working away from the top, dropping strikes. Barron is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Page lands a couple of good shots and Barron has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Barron is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Barron is taking damage to the body and head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Page landing with strikes. Page lands strikes to the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Barron wants to get back to his feet. Page connects with a big shot to the side of Barron's head.
Page is punishing Barron with strikes - can he finish him?! Page has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Barron's body.
Barron wants to get back to his feet. The referee is taking a good look at Barron as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Page!
Barron is rocked! Page has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Barron is trying to get back to his feet but Page has full control of the position and if anything, Barron has just worked his way into a worse spot. Page is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Franky Page will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Franky Page's cut. That's time! Barron's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Page looks for a takedown but Barron sprawls well. Barron uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Page has time to react. Page wants to clinch and Barron counters with a nice right hand that sends Page toppling to the canvas! Page scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Barron finish him?!
Page is rocked! Barron closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Page out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Drew Barron! Drew Barron was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
