The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dimitrov scores with a spinning back kick!
A head kick by Garcia misses
and Dimitrov makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Garcia looks winded!
Both fighters circling a little - Dimitrov finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Dimitrov lands a big uppercut and Garcia crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Garcia looks OK. Dimitrov waves Garcia back to his feet!

It looks like Joel Garcia has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dimitrov lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Garcia up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Dimitrov from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Garcia's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Daniel Dimitrov was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
