Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tebato Nakara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesus St Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). St Pierre has chosen For Heavy Metal we will die! as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St Pierre goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Nakara darts in looking for a takedown but St Pierre gets double underhooks and turns Nakara into the cage.
Nakara scores with a takedown into St Pierre's guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Nakara's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nakara lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Nakara chips away with some ground and pound.
Nakara throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

St Pierre escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Nakara gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nakara throwing strikes but missing.
St Pierre controls Nakara momentarily but Nakara frees himself.
St Pierre has his foot on Nakara's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nakara works his way back into a safe position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nakara throws a strike but St Pierre rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
St Pierre has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Nakara to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! St Pierre is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Nakara pulls down on the head and he's put St Pierre to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Tebato Nakara!
After winning the bout, Tebato Nakara thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
