Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jeremy Strehard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Henryk Tymonowicz!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tymonowicz tries a head kick but it misses.
Strehard decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Tymonowicz makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Tymonowicz moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Tymonowicz misses with a head kick.
Tymonowicz misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tymonowicz looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

and Strehard counters with a straight right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tymonowicz throws a leg kick that is checked
so Strehard counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Tymonowicz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Tymonowicz is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Strehard controlling from the top position.

Strehard trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Strehard gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Strehard drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Strehard is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Tymonowicz escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Strehard gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Strehard stands up and waves to Tymonowicz to follow him.
Tymonowicz lands a high kick to the side of Strehard's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Tymonowicz dives into guard, looking to finish.
It looks like Jeremy Strehard has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tymonowicz trying to control the position from guard on top but Strehard is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Tymonowicz distracts Strehard with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Strehard is rocked!
Tymonowicz loads up on a big left hand. Strehard felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Tymonowicz looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Strehard can't hide his disappointment, as Tymonowicz celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Henryk Tymonowicz!
