With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kusal Perera!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Chad Campbell and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perera takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Awe lands with an uppercut that bounces Perera off the ropes and back into range.
Perera moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Awe definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Perera now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

Nice defenses there by Perera.
Perera is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Awe with a body shot.

The crowd cheers as Perera lands an impressive looking overhand right. Awe doesn't seem phased though.

Awe falls off balance throwing a combination
and Perera counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Awe dips to his left and cracks Perera with an uppercut!
Awe tries to bum rush Perera with a series of wild strikes but Perera uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Perera let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Perera tries to clinch but Awe moves out of range.

and Perera moves into the clinch.

Perera catches his opponent with a big hook that sends him to the canvas! Awe stumbles back to his feet but will the referee allow it to continue? Awe walks forwards and this one will be allowed to continue! Come on!

Kusal Perera comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Perera has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
