The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Animai throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Forclit counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Keimah Animai has been cut.
Forclit jabs Animai right on the nose. Animai blinks but takes it well.
Forclit misses with a low kick.
Forclit avoids the head kick by Animai.
Animai throws out a loose jab but Forclit uses good head movement to avoid it.
Animai misses with a right hand
and Forclit counters with a nice uppercut.

Animai is rocked!
Forclit on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Animai is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Forclit rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Animai moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Forclit wants to clinch up but Animai keeps it at a distance.
Forclit slips a straight right by Animai.

Forclit closes the distance and clinches.
Animai blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Forclit struggles to land a body shot inside as Animai controls his hands.
Forclit misses with a short punch on the inside.
Forclit wants to break free but Animai has control.

I was talking to Forclit's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Animai blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Forclit is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Forclit pushes Animai back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Animai scores with an uppercut up the middle.

Forclit swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Happy Forclit has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Keimah Animai.

Forclit connects with a big uppercut there that sends Animai tumbling to the ground! Forclit follows him down into his guard.
Animai is still in real trouble! Can Forclit finish him?
Forclit gets to his feet and stands over Animai, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Animai felt that one! Forclit unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Animai from any more punishment!
