Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Scott Columbus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tobin Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Columbus comes into the arena with Blood Of The Kings blaring out of the sound system. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 5 - 1, fighting out of London, Scott Columbus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Tobin Frost! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Micheangelo Fripello and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frost ducks under a wild hook from Columbus. Frost staying out of range there. Frost goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Frost staying out of range there. Frost moves into range and connects with a jab. Columbus avoids the body shot from Frost.
Frost dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Frost waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Columbus. It looked like Columbus wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Frost needs to keep his hands up - Columbus had a free shot at his head there. Frost throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Columbus on the side of the head. Frost blocks a leg kick. Frost cracks a nice hook into Columbus's ribs. Frost closes the distance and clinches. Frost blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Columbus prevents a body shot from Frost. Frost lands a nice uppercut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Columbus looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Frost tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Columbus manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Frost keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Columbus. Frost lands a nice shot that snaps Columbus's head back.

Frost follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Columbus throws a leg kick but Frost sees it coming and moves out of range. Frost pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Columbus back to the ropes. Frost follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Columbus throws an off balance right hand
and Frost counters with a body kick that stops Columbus in his tracks momentarily. Columbus throws a hook to the side of Frost's head but Frost sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Frost misses with a hook. Columbus ducked under it nicely. Tobin Frost seems to be getting the better of the standup. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Frost misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Columbus scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. A clash of legs there as Frost blocks the low kick. Columbus connects with a leg kick. Frost looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Frost throws a lazy right hand but Columbus sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Frost has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
