PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Oroku Saki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dog The Multi Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saki comes into the arena with Shredder's Suite blaring out of the sound system. The Multi Hunter is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hardwired - Metallica. Dog The Multi Hunter has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oroku Saki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dog The Multi Hunter!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Josh West and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saki misses with a wild body shot.
Saki stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The Multi Hunter slips under a jab from Saki.
Saki moves out of range of the strikes.
Decent striking displayed by Saki there.
The Multi Hunter tests Saki's chin there with a solid looking shot.

The Multi Hunter gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Saki digs a right hand into The Multi Hunter's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on The Multi Hunter's gas tank.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The Multi Hunter lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Saki can't find room to land a body shot as The Multi Hunter controls the action.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The Multi Hunter lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
The Multi Hunter lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Saki backwards.

Saki escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Saki misses with a straight left.
A nice side step and The Multi Hunter releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
The Multi Hunter tries to score with a low kick but Saki moves his leg out of the way.
A swing and a miss from Saki.
The Multi Hunter wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
We've been told by Saki's head coaches at LOD: Scrap Squad that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Saki misses with a wild combination.

and Saki cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Saki misses with a hook. The Multi Hunter ducked under it nicely.
A little jabbing left from The Multi Hunter on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
The Multi Hunter ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Saki lands an overhand right.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Saki bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
The Multi Hunter gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Saki counters with a straight right hand.
The Multi Hunter lands with a hook. Saki tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.


Saki is rocked!
The Multi Hunter flashes Saki a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Saki's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Saki crumples to the floor! He's out cold! The Multi Hunter punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dog The Multi Hunter!
A relieved looking Dog The Multi Hunter thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
