The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Jonathan Paton and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von Ketler on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Tipton. Tipton obviously looking to wear him down.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tipton.
Von Ketler lands with a shot to the body.
Von Ketler moves into the clinch successfully.

Tipton has a couple of punches blocked by Von Ketler.
Tipton pushes Von Ketler back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Tipton shoots for a double leg takedown but Von Ketler sprawls well. He's pushed Tipton's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Tipton dives in and grabs Von Ketler's left leg, looking for a takedown. Von Ketler pushes down on Tipton's head and hops out.
Eksem Von Ketler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Byron Tipton.

Tipton shoots in looking for a takedown but Von Ketler manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tipton's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Tipton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Von Ketler's waist but Von Ketler gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tipton off to one side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tipton has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
