The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Sano and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Offley moves out of range as Hammouche strikes.
Hammouche throws the left hand but Offley avoids the punch easily.
Offley attempts a counter takedown but Hammouche avoids it well and moves away.
Hammouche scores with a nice right hand.
It looks like Clinton Offley has been cut.
Offley gets a double leg takedown into Hammouche's guard.
Offley connects with a couple of short punches.
Offley is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Hammouche is looking to stand up but Offley isn't so interested in that idea.

Hammouche lands with a hook. Offley tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Hammouche tries a low kick but Offley avoids it.

Nice uppercut lands for Hammouche. That snapped Offley's head back.
Offley shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hammouche as he avoids it easily.
Hammouche throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Hammouche scores with a jab. Offley acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
A left lands for Hammouche.
We've been informed that Hammouche has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

A slapping leg kick lands for Hammouche.
Hammouche has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Hammouche throws a combination that misses
and Offley counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hammouche won't be happy with that.
Offley passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Hammouche!
Hammouche's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Offley loads up with a big shot that hurts Hammouche! He's pulled Offley in close but Offley has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Hammouche survive? More strikes from Offley and Hammouche is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
