Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Victor Tellegio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Wilkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Victor Tellegio! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
35 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Andy Wilkins! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Ryoma Takatsuka and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tellegio is looking to chop away at Wilkins's legs. Wilkins feints the counter takedown. Tellegio pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Wilkins back to the cage. Tellegio follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Tellegio scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Wilkins takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Tellegio lands a really nice looking cross but Wilkins seems unphased.
Tellegio misses with an uppercut. Wilkins saw that one coming. Wilkins on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Wilkins throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Tellegio tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Wilkins is in Tellegio's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tellegio preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Wilkins wants to control from the top but Tellegio keeps moving. Tellegio is trying to control the position but Wilkins postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilkins preventing the sweep. Wilkins tries to free his leg and advance position but Tellegio is retaining full guard. Wilkins trying to control but Tellegio is working from the bottom. Tellegio pulls Wilkins in close to his closed guard and prevents Wilkins from doing any damage or advancing position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Tellegio looks to throw the jab but Wilkins is out of range. Wilkins scores with a decent looking hook. Tellegio tries a low kick but Wilkins avoids it. Tellegio has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Julius Gym in the buildup to the fight. Wilkins takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Tellegio scores with a sloppy right hand. Wilkins should have avoided that one.
That's two minutes gone in the round. No luck with that takedown attempt from Wilkins. Tellegio is looking to counter the offense by Wilkins and move into the clinch. Wilkins fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Tellegio tries to counter by clinching up but Wilkins breaks away and moves out of range. Wilkins fails with the takedown and Tellegio counters with a slapping leg kick. Victor Tellegio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andy Wilkins. A cross from Tellegio lands. Tellegio throws a jab when Wilkins was well out of range. Horrible takedown attempt by Wilkins or perhaps it was just good defense by Tellegio, which made it look bad. A counter left hand to the body from Tellegio misses its target.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tellegio instigates a clinch. Wilkins working aggressively here.
Wilkins gets through Tellegio's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Wilkins swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Tellegio misses with a body punch.
Tellegio pushes Wilkins back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Tellegio manages to break the clinch.
Tellegio throws the kick towards the body but Wilkins avoids it. Tellegio connects with a good right hand that stumbles Wilkins. Wilkins circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Wilkins takes one to the side of the head.
Tellegio just misses with a punch to the body.
Wilkins feints the counter takedown. Victor Tellegio is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Wilkins on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Tellegio. Tellegio obviously looking to wear him down.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Good exchange - Tellegio coming out on top. Tellegio scores with a leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tellegio fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Wilkins. Tellegio rushes Wilkins and presses him up against the cage. Tellegio breaks the clinch.
Wilkins closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Tellegio quickly recovers to half guard. Tellegio is trying to control but can't.
Tellegio is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Wilkins is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Wilkins is looking for a kimura here.
Wilkins is trying to work for a kimura but Tellegio is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Victor Tellegio dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
A big left from Tellegio misses. A decent looking body kick lands there for Tellegio. Tellegio defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Wilkins. Wilkins throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Tellegio counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Wilkins misses with a takedown and Wilkins takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Tellegio lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tellegio connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Tellegio throws a nice inside leg kick. That kick from Tellegio tenderised Wilkins's leg. Wilkins is trying to keep his angry face on.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tellegio lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Wilkins is rocked! Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Tellegio throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Wilkins is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
