Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Goku Awesome (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Solomon Slater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Awesome's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Stronger. Goku Awesome has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Goku Awesome!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Solomon Slater!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, David Schapiro and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Awesome.
Slater throws a shot from downtown. Awesome moves away and avoids it.
Awesome showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Slater.
Slater throws the kick towards the body but Awesome avoids it.
Awesome appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Awesome tries for a takedown but Slater circles away easily
and Slater counters with a slapping leg kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Awesome.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Goku Awesome. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Awesome's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Slater connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Awesome scrambles back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Slater does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Slater throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Slater lands a big uppercut and Awesome crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Awesome looks OK. Slater waves Awesome back to his feet!
Awesome is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Slater looks to land a combination but Awesome avoids it well.
Oh Awesome is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Awesome closes this distance looking for a takedown but Slater circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice body punch from Slater.
Awesome is breathing heavily.
Awesome is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Slater doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Awesome crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Awesome's bad books for that mishap!
