With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fleece Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson tries to clinch but McGuiness moves out of range.
Johnson lands a nice looking body kick.
Johnson misses the shot to the body.
McGuiness throwing a counter right hand but Johnson manages to avoid it.
Johnson thuds his shin into the meat of McGuiness's side.
Jab by Johnson.
Johnson moves out of range of the strikes.
Johnson throws a good cross that connects.
McGuiness has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Gorilla Warfare Academy in the buildup to the fight.
Johnson lands a lovely overhand right.
Johnson throws a sloppy head kick and McGuiness moves out of range easily.
McGuiness was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Nice shot lands for Johnson.
Fleece Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson is looking to chop away at McGuiness's legs.
McGuiness swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
A head kick misses from Johnson.
McGuiness feinted there with a counter leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Johnson lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Johnson is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
McGuiness walks forward, straight into a front kick from Johnson.
Johnson throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Nice jab there from Johnson.
Johnson misses with an uppercut. McGuiness saw that one coming.
Johnson lands the left hand.
McGuiness walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! McGuiness is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Fleece Johnson!
A relieved looking Fleece Johnson thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
